We hope to prevent financial obligations from being a barrier to connecting with Spot to Talk. We understand that each individual’s and family’s financial situation is different. In response to that, we are offering a sliding scale. If you feel that our costs per session would prevent you from connecting with us, please reach out to discuss your situation.
We recognize that using your insurance plan might be a critical part of being able to access mental health services. Most insurance policies provide reimbursement for therapy and can help make the cost of receiving mental health services more affordable. We are currently working with several different insurance companies, including Medicaid and Medicare, and would be happy to help you determine your insurance benefits.
What is Spot to Talk’s Cancellation Policy?
We understand that life is busy and sometimes the unexpected happens. We ask that you try your best to communicate with your therapist if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment.
We also value our therapists’ time and therefore ask that you carefully review our cancellation policy:
- Your therapist will wait 15 minutes for you to arrive at your session. If he/she has not heard from you, and you do not arrive for your appointment within 15 minutes of your scheduled session, you will be responsible for the full cost of the session.
- If you cancel your session within 12 hours of the scheduled session time, a late cancelation fee of $60 will be charged to your account.
- If you cancel your session 12 or more hours in advance, your account will not be charged.
