Child Centered Play Therapy for Kids (Ages 3 – 12)
Parents and guardians are vital resources for children, but having an outside resource to connect with and to work with them through challenges that affect how they feel and act, can provide an additional layer of support for their development. Children’s natural form of communication is play, thus making play therapy the most effective, evidenced based form of therapy for children.
Our play therapists are skilled in Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) which involves engaging your child in a one-on-one manner in one of our specifically designed CCPT playrooms to help them foster building important skills such as emotional regulation, decision making, confidence building and so much more. Our therapists will keep you informed throughout their work with your child and will meet with you for caregiver consultations every five sessions to review progress, challenges, and suggestions for how to help your child at home.
